Settlement Guide
On XROMEDA, creators receive secure monthly settlements for revenue generated from their content sales.To begin settlements, you must first complete identity verification and register your payout method.1. Settlement SchedulePayout Date: Every month on the 10th (if the 10th falls on a weekend or holiday, payment will be made on the previous business day).Settlement Period: Revenue generated in the previous month.Example: Revenue from July → paid out on August 10.Settlement TypesAutomatic Settlement: Automatically paid on the 10th of each month.Manual Settlement: Must be requested between the 1st–7th → paid on the 10th.Requests are not available from the 8th–end of month (rolled over to the following month).💡 Note: If refunds or adjustments cause your settlement amount to be negative, no payout will be made for that month.2. Identity VerificationIn Creator Mode, go to Settlement > Settlement Info.Click Verify Identity to proceed.Verification methods:Domestic (Korea): Mobile phone verificationInternational (outside Korea): Passport, bank account, or PayPal verificationAfter verification, you can register your payout method.Identity verification is valid for 1 year. A warning banner will appear 7 days before expiration. If expired, re-verification is required before you can modify settlement details.3. Settlement CalculationSettlement amounts are calculated after deducting fees and adjustments:Final Settlement = (Sales – Refunds) – PG Fees – Service FeesPG Fees: approx. 4–6%Service Fees: 9.99%Currency Conversion:KRW → USD: Sales ÷ exchange rate (rounded to 2 decimal places)USD → KRW: Amount × exchange rate (rounded up to nearest KRW)Standard: Seoul Foreign Exchange Base Rate (business day prior to payout)6. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)Q. Is there a minimum payout amount?A. There is no minimum threshold. However, if refunds or adjustments result in a negative balance, settlement will not proceed for that month.Q. I’m an international creator. Can I use PayPal only?A. It depends on your country:In PayPal-supported countries → PayPal onlyIn countries where PayPal is not supported → Bank transfer onlyQ. What happens if my identity verification expires?A. Settlements cannot proceed until you re-verify. You also cannot edit your payout method until verification is renewed.Q. How are service fees handled for tax purposes?A. For creators in Korea:Individuals: A cash receipt is automatically issued; report as cash income when filing taxes.Businesses: A tax invoice is automatically issued; report as cash income when filing business taxes.Q. Does XROMEDA handle tax payments on my behalf?A. No.Korean creators: XROMEDA does not deduct or pay withholding tax (3.3%) or VAT (1/11) on your behalf. You are responsible for your own tax filing and payment.International creators: XROMEDA does not handle foreign tax reporting. You must file and pay taxes according to the laws of your country of residence.Q. What happens if my settlement account or business registration info is incorrect?A. Settlement will be put on hold, and we will request identity confirmation. Payouts will only proceed once the correct details are provided and verified.Q. How are refunds processed?A. Refund amounts are deducted from your revenue.If your available balance is insufficient, the remaining amount will be carried over and deducted from the next settlement.Q. What happens to unpaid settlements if I delete my account?A. You must request settlement before deleting your account.Revenue earned before deletion is eligible for payout.During the 30-day withdrawal grace period, settlement requests cannot be made. If you restore your account, settlement info will also be restored.Once withdrawal is complete (after 30 days), all personal data is deleted, and settlement cannot be processed.In compliance with e-commerce and tax laws, anonymized settlement history is retained for 5 years, after which any unpaid balance is forfeited.
